This game has no content. If y ou play Dust for one hour, you have experienced everything that the game has to offer. You can fight on the ground, in a tank, or in a derpship. That's it. Nada. Finito.

What non-militia gear have you used?
- Viziam laser rifles and viziam pistols, High level mass drivers, proto sniper rifles. They're all essentially the same though. The gun goes "pop" and my target goes "ahhh"
What's it like to be immune to most scanning?
- I don't know, you're the one with tinfoil in his hat, not me.
How many people have you snuck up on while they were preoccupied?
- More than I can count
How many blaster and railgun installations have you blown up?
- More than I can count.
Have you gotten a kill assist on a tank without using AV?
- yes, within my first hour of play. (av nades were OP at the time)
Have you found anything you could climb on that seemed too high?
- I think youi're too high.
Have you fallen down a hill to die in the red zone?
- Who hasn't?
Have you switched suits via the supply depot due to conditions on the ground?
- Yes, within my first hour of play.
Have you snuck behind enemy lines to take an objective?
- [sarcasm] Wow, no I never did that. It never occurred to me that I might do that[/sarcasm]
Now, there may not be enough true variability in the game, but there is certainly more than content than none.
Thanks for proving my point, bro. [drops mic]

Don't get me wrong, people.
I'm not saying Dust needs content. The real content will come when and if they ever really get the game linked to Eve in a meaningful way. This is a game for fps addicts who like to grind. I'm ok with that.
I just don't understand people arguing about the so called content. There isn't any. |

Do you know what it's like to fight as a tanker?
Yes. Instead of running around the map firing a weapon, I drive around the map firing a weapon. Viva la difference! |

Yes. However, I continued to play beyond the first hour and did it all again many times

LOL. Dudeboob, you can only accomplish those things because you've already put in 100s of hours. That's called content... the fact you and I have already "consumed" it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Sorry. I'd respond, but I dropped the mic. |

Well, don't do that. The fact is, very little changes in this game beyond the first hour of play. The weapons get a little better, the squads get a little better. Whoopee. |

Again, this is not a problem for me. I just feel that all discussion of "content" ought to wait until there is some. |
